Update on the Blackberry 8800 – GCALSYNC doesn’t really work
June 13, 2007 11:41 amI had some problems using the GCALSYNC with my Blackberry. It can’t handle multiple Google calendars and the sync didn’t correctly set up the events on the Blackberry calendar. I will have to dump this freeware sync software since it doesn’t properly do the job.
There is the CompanionLink for Google Calendar. Ugh… it costs $30 to sync calendars? Not only that but it has to be done at the PC with an USB connection. Come on, The Blackberry has constant internet access… the calendar sync should be wireless! CompainLink claims that “wireless sync is coming soon…” I want the wireless sync feature before I will consider plunging down more money.
